CDBG - Coronavirus Program (CV)

​​​​Program Overview

The State of Wisconsin received Community Development Block Grant for Coronavirus (CDBG-CV) funding through the CARES Act to use for projects designed to prevent, prepare for, and respond to Coronavirus. The Department of Administration - Division of Energy, Housing and Community Resources (DEHCR) awarded approximately $42.5 million in CDBG-CV funding through four application rounds in 2021-2024. The information for the most recent and final round in 2024 is provided below. Applications were accepted and reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis until the funding was fully obligated. A pre-application call was required prior to application submission to discuss project eligibility.
